Lagos plans safety drive for dispatch riders

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) is intensifying efforts to curb rising accidents involving dispatch riders on major highways. LASTMA's General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, announced that the agency has already reached out to union representatives of dispatch riders as part of its traffic safety advocacy strategy. A stakeholders' engagement with courier service operators and riders is planned to strengthen compliance with safety regulations.
