Algeria U23 wins first leg without Kaïl Boudache

The Algeria U23 team defeated Mauritania 2-0 in the first leg of a friendly double-header at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba. Abdelhak Ben Idder opened the scoring with a header from a corner in the 5th minute, and captain Adil Bourabaa added a second in the 85th minute. Kaïl Boudache, suffering from pubalgia, did not play and watched from the bench. The return leg is scheduled for June 9 in Annaba.
