Nigerian Army debunks claims of 17 soldier deaths in Benisheikh

The Nigerian Army has debunked claims that 17 soldiers, including a Brigade Commander, died during a firefight in Benisheikh. According to Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, two officers and two soldiers did lose their lives. The army also clarified that the commander's vehicle was a high-grade armored vehicle, temporarily immobilized during combat. It urged the public to disregard misleading content circulating on social media.
