Pakistan military says 42 killed in fighter attacks in Balochistan

Rebel fighters killed 18 police officers and 11 soldiers in separate attacks in Pakistan's Balochistan province. The military spokesperson, Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, said the death toll since Monday has reached 42. Security forces also killed 54 fighters in several operations. Chaudhry claimed that 'many Afghans' were behind the attacks.
