Military kills 201 terrorists, rescues 188 hostages in nationwide operations

The Defence Headquarters reported that troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria killed 201 terrorists in April as part of counter-insurgency efforts. The operations also rescued 188 abducted civilians, including women, children, and farmers. In the North-East, 136 terrorists were neutralized, while in the North-West, 20 terrorists were killed and 70 kidnapped victims were rescued. The DHQ reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and criminal syndicates nationwide.
