LASEPA seals over 40 facilities for noise pollution violations in Lagos

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has shut down over 40 facilities for breaching noise pollution regulations. General Manager Babatunde Ajayi stated that this enforcement is part of ongoing efforts to reduce excessive noise levels in the state. The affected establishments include religious centers and entertainment venues. Ajayi also warned that persistent offenders risk permanent closure.
