Comrades Marathon Association unveil new three-group start system amid record qualification rate

The Comrades Marathon Up Run on June 14 will feature a new three-group start format to improve safety and runner flow. This year, 21,633 runners successfully qualified, achieving a qualification rate of 95.37%, up from 93.96% last year. The event, marking the 50th Up Run, sold out its 22,000 entries in less than 10 hours.
