Attention should now be shifted to Borno - Ndume reacts to rescued Oyo schoolchildren, teachers

Borno South Senator Ali Ndume reacted to the rescue of schoolchildren and teachers abducted from Oyo state after over 50 days in captivity. He appealed to the military to shift its attention to Borno, where 42 people from his constituency, 30 from Lassa, and over 50 additional hostages remain captive. One teacher was beheaded shortly after the May 15, 2026 abduction.
