Australia arrests ex-soldier Roberts-Smith over alleged Afghan war crimes

Former Australian special forces soldier Ben Roberts-Smith has been arrested at Sydney airport and is expected to face charges for alleged war crimes related to the murders of unarmed Afghan nationals. The charges, which include five counts of murder, follow a complex investigation by the Australian Federal Police and the Office of the Special Investigator. Roberts-Smith was scheduled to appear in a New South Wales court later on Tuesday.
