LAWMA demolishes illegal structures on Lagos–Badagry Expressway

The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has demolished illegal structures along the Alaba Rago setback on the Lagos–Badagry Expressway. LAWMA's Managing Director, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, stated that the operation aimed to restore order and improve sanitation compliance. He warned that commercial activities and unlawful occupation of road setbacks would no longer be tolerated. Several carts used by illegal waste handlers were also confiscated during the operation.
