Ivory Coast: Abidjan Hosts the 3rd International and Multidisciplinary Conference on Tobacco Use in Africa

The 3rd International and Multidisciplinary Conference on Tobacco Use, Abortion, and AIDS in Schools is taking place in Abidjan from April 8 to 10, 2026, organized by the Ivorian Club for the Fight Against Tobacco, Abortion, and AIDS in Schools (CILTAS-MS) and the UPDV of Félix Houphouët-Boigny University. Pierre DIMBA, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister of Health, opened the conference, emphasizing the importance of combating tobacco use, a major cause of cancer. Dr. Brou Dieudonné, president of CILTAS-MS, thanked the minister for his support in this fight for the well-being of youth and vulnerable individuals.
