IPL switch leads to two-year PSL ban for Zimbabwe’s Muzarabani

Blessing Muzarabani has been banned from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for two years after opting to join the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite having an agreement with Islamabad United. The 29-year-old, who went unsold in both IPL and PSL auctions, was signed by Islamabad but chose to play for Kolkata as a replacement for Mustafizur Rahman. The Pakistan Cricket Board stated that this decision violated his contractual obligations.
