The NGO consortium 'Madini kwa amani na maendeleo' urged the Congolese government to strengthen the security of natural resources in the DRC on Wednesday, June 17 in Kinshasa. Manager Déo Musafiri made this call at the opening of a technical workshop on integrating a mining code module into police training. Organized with the National Police and supported by the Netherlands, the workshop aims to deploy a qualified mining and hydrocarbons police to combat fraud and violence.
