Kano federal lawmaker, Danjuma is dead

Muhammad Danjuma Hassan, a member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in Kano State, has died at the age of 66 following a prolonged illness. His death was confirmed by House spokesman Akin Rotimi, who stated that his passing is a significant loss to the National Assembly and the country. Hassan was elected in 2023 under the New Nigeria Peoples Party and served as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary.
