The Umukozo festival celebrates the drum of Burundi

The 5th edition of the UMUKOZO festival in Bujumbura celebrated the Burundian drum with a carnival and acrobatic dances. Under the theme 'Our identity is culture', traditional drummers performed for an enthusiastic audience. Spectator Pascal Niyonkuru praised the event as a symbol of peace and security, contradicting negative information about the country. Traditional dances were also part of the festival.
