IMF Pledges Technical and Financial Support to Kenya Amid Middle East War Crisis

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) assured Kenya of its support due to economic pressures linked to the Middle East conflict. During a high-level meeting on April 13, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Treasury officials, including Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi, discussed Kenya's economic performance and reform priorities. The IMF also expressed its commitment to providing technical assistance and financial support where appropriate.
