Cross River Govt prepares for state police, commissions Homeland Security offices

The Cross River State government has commissioned the Southern District office of the Homeland Safety and Security Agency in Calabar to enhance community security. A total of 1,300 men have been recruited for community policing across the three senatorial districts. Governor Bassey Otu emphasized that this initiative aims to improve security and reduce criminal activities in the state.
