Arsenal youngster Max Dowman became the youngest player to feature in the Champions League knockout stages at 16 years and 97 days old. He was brought on by Mikel Arteta during the match against Sporting. The record was previously held by Lamine Yamal, who was 16 years and 223 days old when he played against Napoli in February 2024. Dowman also scored a goal in the 2-0 victory over Everton, making him the youngest goal scorer in Premier League history.
