Kenya is looking to unlock a Ksh271 billion trade opportunity with India through a proposed free trade agreement aimed at addressing a widening trade imbalance. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi mentioned this possibility during the 2nd Khumbhabhisheka Mahotsavam ceremony in Nairobi. Currently, Kenya exports goods worth USD147.4 million to India while importing products valued at USD2.03 billion, creating a significant gap in market dynamics.
