Mali furious, Florent Ibenge extends in Tanzania!

Florent Ibenge extended his contract with Azam FC until 2028, withdrawing his candidacy for the Mali national team job citing personal reasons. The Malian Football Federation (Femafoot) is reportedly furious, with some accusing him of using Mali's interest to negotiate a better deal. According to investigative journalist Romain Molina, Ibenge exasperated officials at the federation and the Ministry of Sports. Femafoot may now turn to Anthony Da Silva as a replacement.
