NSCDC confirms five operatives injured in Delta train accident, assures of safety

Delta State Commandant of NSCDC, Chinedu Igbo, confirmed that five operatives were injured in a train derailment at Owa-Oyibu, Ika North-East Local Government Area. He led a team to assess damage and visited the injured, including his personnel, who are receiving treatment at Central Hospital, Agbor. Igbo assured that NSCDC, in collaboration with other security agencies, remains committed to protecting lives and property along the railway corridor. Railway engineers are examining the scene to determine the causes of the accident as investigations continue.
