PCN seals 821 drug outlets in Kano over violations

The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) sealed 821 pharmaceutical premises in Kano State due to regulatory violations. The four-day operation inspected 1,140 premises, including 68 pharmacies and 587 medicine stores. Violations such as the sale of prescription-only medicines by unlicensed vendors and poor storage conditions were uncovered. The PCN also arrested one operator for obstructing inspectors.
