CAF president rejects corruption claims by Senegal

Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), rejected corruption allegations made by the Senegalese government following the controversial decision to strip Senegal of its AFCON title and award it to Morocco. Motsepe welcomed any legal action regarding these claims and stated that CAF would respect the decisions of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. This decision came after the Senegalese team walked off the pitch during the final against Morocco, leading to a 3-0 victory for Morocco according to CAF regulations.
