ADC factional chair Nafiu Bala disowns resignation letter, says his signature forged

Nafiu Bala, the factional national chairman of the African Democratic Congress, has denied claims of resigning as deputy national chairman, asserting that the circulating resignation letter did not originate from him and that his signature was forged. He recalled that his emergence as acting national chairman followed the resignation announcement by former ADC chairman Ralph Nwosu on July 2. Bala also established that any document not bearing his official letterhead should not be attributed to him.
