Taiwan's President Announces Arrival in Eswatini

Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te announced his arrival in Eswatini, the only diplomatic ally of Taipei in Africa, after a previous trip was canceled due to the withdrawal of overflight permissions by several African countries under pressure from Beijing. Lai stated that his initial visit was suspended due to unforeseen external forces, but after secret arrangements, he successfully arrived in Eswatini. He hopes this trip will further strengthen the friendship between Taiwan and Eswatini.
