Cooking gas price rises 13% to N1,500 per kg

The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has increased by 14.3% month-on-month to N1,500 per kilogram. The ex-depot price also rose by 16.7% to N21 million for 20 metric tonnes. Mr. Inyang Edu, the National President of the Nigerian Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers, stated that this increase was related to the Middle East crisis, which has also impacted other petroleum products.
