Tribunal Stops Move to Oust FKF President Hussein Mohammed in Interim Ruling

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed has received a temporary reprieve after the Sports Disputes Tribunal issued an order halting his removal from office. The tribunal certified the matter as urgent on April 27, 2026, and granted a temporary injunction preventing the respondents from implementing resolutions passed on April 24, 2026, which directly threatened Mohammed's position. The case was placed before Deputy Chairperson Hon. Allan Mola Owinyi, who acted swiftly following the filing of an urgency certificate by the claimant's legal team.
