Tribunal Rules ODM Failed to Follow Fair Hearing Rules in Sifuna Case

The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT) ruled that ODM violated Edwin Sifuna's right to a fair hearing when initiating disciplinary proceedings against the Nairobi Senator and party Secretary General. The tribunal found the process procedurally unfair and invalid, but does not bar ODM from starting fresh proceedings lawfully. Sifuna has been a vocal critic of ODM's cooperation with President William Ruto's administration.
