Senegal: Sonko reelected as head of PASTEF for six years

Ousmane Sonko was unanimously reelected president of PASTEF-Les Patriotes on Saturday, June 6, 2026, during the party's first national congress. As the sole candidate, he received 583 votes out of 583 (100% of the vote) with a turnout of over 98%.
