Morocco’s Economy Sees MAD 5.1 Billion Surplus, 90 Million Quintal Harvest

Morocco's economy recorded a budget surplus of MAD 5.1 billion by the end of March 2026, up from MAD 768 million the previous year. Cereal production for the 2025-2026 season is estimated at 90 million quintals, supported by strong rainfall. However, the industrial sector showed mixed results, with phosphate production declining by 9.9%.
