Education is Nigeria’s strongest weapon against extremism – Defence Minister Musa

The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, stated that Nigeria is fighting an asymmetric war where enemies use radicalization and false narratives, and the best counter-weapon is truth taught in a safe classroom. He inaugurated the Kaduna Christian Academy built by the DSS, calling it a critical military asset without a single rifle. He emphasized that an educated population is less susceptible to terrorist propaganda, and that security has no religion.
