MPs Question Kandara College Over Ksh43.3 Million Fee Shortfall

Lawmakers flagged a significant amount of uncollected fees at Kandara Technical and Vocational College during a Public Investments Committee meeting on April 8, 2026. According to the Auditor General's findings, the college collected Ksh41.3 million, representing 49% of billed fees, leaving a balance of Ksh43.3 million. The management attributed most of the outstanding fees to delays in disbursement of government-sponsored funds for students.
