NTSA Data Reveals Increased Vehicle Registration in 2025 Amid Heightened Enforcement

The NTSA recorded a significant increase in newly registered vehicles, with a 47.9% rise to 395,235 units between 2021 and 2025. This increase is attributed to intensified enforcement efforts and improved access to financing. Motorcycles and three-wheelers saw the most significant growth, nearly doubling to 252,241 units in 2025, while saloon car registrations dropped by 22.5%. The number of driving licenses issued also increased by 15.5% to nearly 1.95 million in 2025.
