US approves $8.6bn in arms sales to Middle East allies

The United States has approved $8.6 billion in arms sales to Middle East allies amid the US-Israel war on Iran. The sales include an advanced precision kill weapon system for Israel at $992 million and battle command systems for Kuwait at $2.5 billion. Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have also been approved for air defense systems and munitions.
