US to Establish Regional Drone Training Center in Morocco

The United States plans to establish a regional drone training center in Morocco, announced during the 13th African Land Forces Summit in Rome. This center will serve as a hub to identify security issues and bring together resources to address them. The initiative will start with a training module for about 16 participants during the upcoming African Lion 2026 exercise.
