United States Kills Tren de Aragua Leader in Military Strike in Venezuela

The United States eliminated Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias 'Niño Guerrero', leader of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, during a joint military strike with Venezuelan forces in Bolívar state. The operation was announced by Donald Trump on June 12, 2026 on Truth Social. The gang had been designated a terrorist organization by Washington in February 2025. Guerrero was indicted in New York for terrorism and cocaine trafficking.
