Protest in Pakistan’s Kashmir stalls after nine killed in clashes

At least nine people were killed in clashes in Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Tuesday, as a planned protest march to Muzaffarabad temporarily stalled. Security personnel raided a house in Rawalakot after a tip about weapons but came under fire, killing an officer. In a separate clash in Sudhnoti, seven protesters and a police officer were killed. Protesters under the JAAC were still in Rawalkot on Wednesday evening despite announcing they would set off at 2pm.
