Mass killings in Nigeria underreported - Olawepo-Hashim

Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, raised concerns about a fresh wave of mass killings in Nigeria, warning that many incidents are underreported. He cited repeated attacks in Shanga Local Government Area of Kebbi State and other parts of the North Central region, indicating a security collapse. Recent attacks in Kebbi reportedly left over 40 dead, while similar incidents in Kwara State have also resulted in numerous fatalities, often overlooked by the media. Olawepo-Hashim called for global awareness regarding this growing humanitarian crisis.
