Plateau peace reports ‘buried’ as killings continue

Over the past two decades, approximately 11,000 people have been killed in Plateau State, leading to the abandonment of 420 communities. Despite several investigative commissions, recommendations have never been implemented, allowing violence to continue. Both federal and state governments have failed to act on the accumulated knowledge, worsening the crisis of violence.
