Troops rescue victim, recover ammunition after deadly attack in Plateau

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace rescued one victim and recovered ammunition following a deadly attack on April 6, 2026, in the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. They discovered the lifeless body of another victim and recovered eight empty cases of 7.62mm ammunition along with a motorcycle linked to the attackers. Authorities are intensifying patrols to prevent further attacks.
