Alaoji-Onitsha transmission line: 2000 persons affected by destruction - TCN

The Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Dr. Ahmed Sule Abdulaziz, disclosed that over 2000 persons were affected by the destruction of property for the reconstruction of the Alaoji-Onitsha 330KV transmission line. During an official handover of grant cheques in Owerri, 210 persons from 32 communities were given grants after evaluation. Additionally, 64 youths were trained in various skills and received start-up packs, in line with President Bola Tinubu's commitment to youth welfare.
