Dismissal: Waly Diouf Bodian caught by his publication on Macky Sall

Waly Diouf Bodian, a fervent supporter of Ousmane Sonko, was dismissed from his position as director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. An old Facebook post from 2022, in which he predicted that Macky Sall would no longer set foot in the presidential palace after April 2024, has resurfaced with irony, as Sall returned to Senegal while Sonko is not in power. This dismissal is part of a wave of replacements at the top of public enterprises, and Bodian has been replaced by Doune Pathé Mbengue.
