Linguère: A man arrested after cutting off another's hand with a machete

On June 5, 2026 around 7 p.m., a fight broke out in front of the Total gas station at the central market in Linguère between two intoxicated men. One of them had his left hand nearly severed by machete blows. The suspect was arrested red-handed and the weapon seized. The victim was taken to Magatte Lô hospital and an investigation is underway.
