Ivorian Coast: An Innovative Platform Implemented to Anticipate Coastal Risks

The University Center for Research and Application in Remote Sensing (CURAT) unveiled an interactive mapping platform for managing coastal risks in Ivory Coast during a workshop in Abidjan on April 10, 2026. Developed under project FONSTI N°30, this initiative aims to address growing environmental challenges by centralizing essential data. Dr. Mobio Brice emphasized that this tool will assist local authorities in anticipating climate change-related risks and making informed decisions to protect coastal populations.
