From campus mud to NYSC khaki: The inspiring story of Bitrus Nwalsu

Thirty-year-old Bitrus Nwalsu was recently seen maneuvering a locally-fabricated wheelchair through heavy traffic in Bauchi. Graduating in 2024 from Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, he overcame numerous obstacles related to his disability to pursue his education. Nwalsu aspires to become a civil servant to help his family and community, despite the humiliations and frustrations he faced during his academic journey.
