At least 18 people waiting for humanitarian aid were killed on Monday in a Russian strike on Komyshuvakha, in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian authorities said. Regional head Mykhailo Semikin said five people were injured and 27 remained missing after at least nine 3,000kg aerial bombs hit the village. Volodymyr Zelensky said a school used to provide aid and shelter residents was struck a second time, as rescue teams searched the rubble. The Russian military has not publicly commented on the attack.
