BURIDA: Nearly 300 million FCFA to be redistributed to artists and creators from June 15, 2026

The Ivorian Copyright Office (BURIDA) announced on June 12, 2026, the second distribution of the year, scheduled for June 15, 2026, totalling 299,615,581 FCFA. This amount, down from 2025, concerns 2,766 beneficiaries (2,188 men and 578 women), including rights from first quarter 2026 exploitations and Orange ringback tones from September 2025. The music and audiovisual sectors top the rankings, with the top male beneficiary receiving 5.99 million FCFA and the top female beneficiary receiving 2.79 million FCFA. BURIDA reminded artists and creators to declare their works and obtain authorization for events using protected works.
