C64 Protest: Drop Point Moved, People's Palace Out of Reach

The provincial government of Kinshasa announced a compromise with the opposition regarding the route for the protest scheduled for September 15 against the constitutional change. The sit-in will not take place in front of Parliament but near the headquarters of the National Electoral Commission (CENI). The opposition agreed to modify its initial route after discussions with provincial authorities, although opposition member Delly Sesanga criticized the late decision-making process.
