Madagascar: a general among 13 accused of assassination plot

Prosecutors in Madagascar announced that 13 individuals, including a general, are being prosecuted for their alleged involvement in a plot to assassinate interim President Colonel Michael Randrianirina. Of the suspects, 11 have been detained, and arrest warrants have been issued for others. Prosecutor Narindra Navalona Rakotoniaina revealed that Colonel Patrick Rakotomamonjy was involved in organizing the plot, having previously held a position at the presidency.
