Makashule Gana to attend pivotal court hearing on Ramaphosa's impeachment interdict

Makashule Gana, chairperson of the Impeachment Committee, will attend the Western Cape High Court hearing where President Cyril Ramaphosa seeks an urgent interdict to halt the impeachment process. Ramaphosa has filed a review application against the Independent Panel's report, to be heard in September. He argues that a public hearing before the review would cause irreparable harm. The committee claims the interdict could delay proceedings for years.
